Yesterday’s post will be short as all Christine and I did was shop for souvenirs and bought some treats for ourselves. Don’t you love my lime green corduroys?1?

There was also a Jesse sighting now that he is feeling better. He met us for lunch at a terraced, rooftop cafe which we essentially had to ourselves. Jesse ended up ordering the same dish I did because the burrata was exceptional and entree of pork chops, rice and beans were super tasty. Being Puerto Rican, I pride myself on my black beans but I have to give these people props for adding the pork to the beans that just made them ohhh so yum!😋

Before you say it, of course every meal has to end with gelato!

After lunch, we headed home to chill before eating yet again. Just Christine and I went to Tasca do Kiko since Jesse had meetings. He did not miss anything. While the atmosphere was nice, the food was bland. Plus, we brought him home ceviche which he said was delicious. Maybe we just ordered the wrong dishes.🤷🏽

On the way there, we found this teacup Yorkie that was roaming the streets with no owner and we were worried it was going to be hit by a car. Christine went over to check on it when it’s master came out running out of the house. It guess this was his hood.
