It has been an interesting last few days.. Penny left and Christine arrived on Wednesday. Savitri and I have been staying around the apartment, recovering from a thankfully not-too-bad COVID bout we picked up earlier in the week. We’re vastly less concerned about the medical implications than the risk of sharing with others. Thus the abbreviated and sparse posts for a bit.

Between the beautiful area and sick apartment-mates, Christine has been walking far and wide! She did over 24,000 steps today, all across Lagos, up the hill to IKEA, to the supermarket, and along the beach.

Savitri and Christine whipped together a lovely meal tonight. The smell of garlic sizzling in the kitchen was so welcome to my dulled senses! Savitri has also been making me incredibly good hot green tea with tons of honey & lemon. She always makes feeling bad as good as it can be!
